Before: Photo taken from inside the garage, looking into the mudroom entryway.
Stage 1: Patched walls, painted trim white (leftover trim paint), painted door Victorian Pewter (leftover bathroom wall paint), attached free reclaimed wood louvers in a square pattern using construction adhesive.
Stage 2: Attached reclaimed bamboo quarter round to door using construction adhesive.
Stage 3: Primed and painted molding, ceiling, and walls using leftover paint. Removed mudroom carpet. :)
I'm halfway through giving this space new life and am excited to share the last half of the remodel next week, with tutorials to follow. :)

Your entryway is looking marvelous! The paint colors go together beautifully, and the trims make everything look so polished. I'm looking forward to your tutorials of all your progress. Wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize what difference molding can make on a wall, but I think it is safe to say I'm hooked. :)
DeleteYou are one craft lady, that is for sure! What a great idea for the wall...and thrifty! I can't wait to see the finished product!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kim. :) The louvers had been sitting around in my garage for a while. It's funny how project ideas just have to simmer, sometimes.
